Recently, Jiangxi Zhonghe Biotechnology Co., Ltd. announced plans to expand and upgrade its production base located on the south side of Rongqi Avenue, Xinghuo Industrial Park, Yongxiu County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. The project’s first Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) notice has been published. The initiative aims to enhance the company’s production capacity to meet growing market demand.

Construction Details:
 The project involves the construction of two Category A warehouses and one Category C warehouse, along with the renovation of four workshops and other supporting production facilities. Upon completion, the project will add new annual production capacities of:

● MJ: 300 tons/year

● Benzobicyclon: 300 tons/year

● 8-Hydroxyquinoline: 1,000 tons/year

● Copper Calcium Sulfate: 300 tons/year

8-Hydroxyquinoline, also known as hydroxyquinoline or oxine, is a key intermediate in pesticide production, particularly for synthesizing copper-based fungicides such as copper quinoline.

Jiangxi Zhonghe Biotechnology Co., Ltd., a holding subsidiary of Jiangxi Zhonghe Chemical Co., Ltd., was established on October 26, 2018. Its registered location is Xinghuo Industrial Park, Yongxiu County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province.

This expansion project will further enhance Jiangxi Zhonghe Biotechnology’s capacity in producing pesticide technical materials and intermediates. By constructing and upgrading production facilities, the company aims to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen its market competitiveness.
